Mentor Application

Mentors: Please complete one form per project. All listed information will be posted on the ‘projects’ tab of this website, except for mentor contact information (email and phone), the number of positions available, and mentor experience supervising undergraduates doing research. Project mentors and their institutions will be publicly recognized and acknowledged on the Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education website.

Depending on the number of research projects listed and on the number of students who apply for the internship program, not all students and projects may be supported. The Foundation has a limit of 25 internships available for the 2027 summer program. The final decision on the projects and students supported will be made by the Goldwater Scholarship Foundation.
